We specialize in developing athletes in Women’s Artistic Gymnastics (WAG), both at the regional and provincial level. Participants are recruited in these programs after an audition process. Their training aims to develop their optimal potential and foster healthy personal discipline, all in a dynamic, fun and safe environment.

Défi

The DÉFI program introduces the next generation of athletes to gymnastics, who learn the sport’s basics and fundamentals. During DÉFI events, gymnasts are assessed based on their level’s requirements. The program is not a race to the top tier, but rather the pursuit of excellence, as all young gymnasts must learn to develop their attention to technical details. This program can also help prepare for competitions or round out any competitive program. Training sessions are held 2 to 4 times per week.

Regional circuit – R2 and R3

The Regional program(Circuit Régional)  is designed for a diversified clientele (introduction, recreational, competitive) and enables to take part in evaluations and competitions. It begins at a beginner level with a specific format enabling children to have fun competing (R2 and R3). Later, the performance level will introduce a more structured and advanced training regimen. This program requires greater commitment from participants than recreational courses. Training sessions are held 2 to 4 times per week.

Regional 3 (6h and 9h)

The R4 and R5 categories are considered basic competitive levels, as opposed to R2 and R3, which are a gradual familiarization with competition (therefore precompetitive).

These categories are based on age groups (argo, tyro, novice and senior). Participants compete at higher levels and present routines and gymnastics elements that are practically identical to provincial circuit criteria.

Besides the 4 basic apparatuses (beam, bars, tumbling mat and vault), gymnasts train with and are graded on trampoline and tumbling routines. Training sessions are held 3 to 4 times per week.

The provincial program is divided into 5 levels based on age groups (argo, tyro, novice and senior). In this program, graded apparatuses include the vault, uneven bars, beam and floor exercise.

The provincial circuit’s program is a version of the Canadian provincial program adapted for Québec. Participants compete in two types of events: invitations and trials leading to the Québec Championships or the GQC Games. Training sessions are held 3 to 5 times per week.
